Adolf Martínez / Josep Lluís Sisternas, arquitectes i associats MSA+A

Adolf Martínez (Barcelona, 1956) and Josep-Lluís Sisternas (Barcelona, 1955) are architects graduated from the School of Architecture of Barcelona and are members of the Architects’ Institute of Catalonia (COAC). They work in partnership since 1984, and in 2006 they founded the professional office MSA+A (Adolf Martínez / Josep Lluís Sisternas, Arquitectes i Associats, SLP) as a step forward in the consolidation of a long-lasting professional relationship with the architects Cristóbal Arrabal, Yolanda Boto, Milena Ibáñez, Antoni Ramis, Juan Pablo Rodríguez, and Ignacio Vallet.

MSA+A includes a team of professionals who are specialised in different parts of the development of projects. They can deal with construction projects, economic estimation and management of building operations, design and calculation of structures and facilities, sustainability assessment and certification for buildings, and both the study and development of urban planning proposals and management. The team has the necessary means and gathers enough experience to meet the conditions of time, cost, quality, and technical capacity required to undertake projects and works.

For over thirty years of professional practice, MSA+A has developed many projects for public buildings (hotels, schools, care centres, Administration or office buildings) and residential buildings (totalling more than five thousand dwellings, most of them subsidised housing), many urban planning works, and several public space projects.

Some of the projects developed by MSA+A over the years have been published in books and professional magazines and have been part of exhibitions, apart from having been awarded prizes and mentions in national and international competitions.
